Return To Work Program
A transitional Return-to-Work (RTW) program may be possible in some cases.
While we do not suggest an injured worker be brought back to work in any
capacity when it is not medically sound to do so, opportunities often exist
where the employee may be able to return to work with modified responsibilities.
When possible, support of a RTW program can help injured workers
by
keeping them involved in the business and reducing their
isolation,
which is good for morale. The company also benefits,
as it limits
the
amount of time employees are away from work,
which reduces
loss
in productivity and lowers the cost of claims,
resulting in a
possible
premium savings.
